Re: Q re: AIS in prep for the SBS3

And to jump on the bandwagon we just updated our ship tracking site http://shipfinder.co with some great new features. Good timing :-)

Re: New ADS-B Sharing System

Would you be happy if this was logged to a central database that you could query or ultimately are you after getting the data locally? Roger and I have been talking about how to provide this data and yes the trouble is the station ID! I don't think we could play around with the lat/lon fields as cli...

Re: SBS-1 Firmware Upgrade - broke?

Hi Chris,

Done that and same lights again after uploading. I can upload as many times as I like! :-) Is it possible to get old firmware file and try that?

What is the SBS-Resources approach? I was getting annoyed with BaseStation wanting this being updated! :-)

SBS-1 Firmware Upgrade - broke?

Hello,

I have an OLD SBS-1 here that was running really old firmware so tried updating it. Basestation was complaining it needed it.

Now all the lights are on (except the blue ones), what is the best way to fix this? It will let me upload the firmware again!

New SBS-1 over Ethernet

Hello, I have a new SBS-1 that I wanted to get working over Ethernet. I changed the IP to 192.168.1.160 and I can access this from the machine that is running BaseStation. I have confirmed the port is set to 10001. The wizard does not find anything at all which is a pain and fails so BaseStation wil...

Re: New ADS-B Sharing System

Adsbhub will provide pretty much realtime adsb streams in 30003 output. I know of some people using it for a similar flight sim tool.

Re: New ADS-B Sharing System

Wow that is awesome, I've never used this before!

I suspect this will also work with adsbhub too!

Re: New ADS-B Sharing System

Hi Chris, It is another sharing network, but anyone can use the data that comes out for whatever purpose, it is fully open and anyone can join or leave at any time. It brings together a lot of users data as we had requests from some people to do something like this as quite rightly so they didn't wa...

Re: New ADS-B Sharing System

Update rate is live, we compress the data though and I believe the cycle time is curently set to 2 seconds so there will be that much delay in the system.

Re: New ADS-B Sharing System

Hi Dave,

Yes quite right. We work with any tool that can process 30003 output so Plane Plotter is one of them. What comes out of the client is an augmented feed with all the users data.

New ADS-B Sharing System

Hi All, We (pinkfroot and Roger Tinembart) have been working hard over the last few months and wanted to create something that you can all be part of....so we have created ADSBHub.net! ADSBHub.net is a sharing system that works in conjunction with all existing ADS-B receivers currently on the market...

Re: BaseStation to MYSQL

Am I also thinking that this is not a GUI app and just a console application? I just built in Eclipse and seems to work well! :-)

Very useful indeed!

Thank you
