Re: Another server to display output on a Google Maps page

When "Date report" request from date 27.03.2011 and late in criteria area, I get true report by default 25 rows with area "First :: Prev :: 1 2 3 4 ... 9 :: Next :: Last" screen. But when "Date report" request before 27.03.2011 (26.03 and early) area "First :: Prev :: 1 2 3 4 ... 9 :: Next :: Last"...

Re: Another server to display output on a Google Maps page

Hi - still transfixed by this excellent program! I've now come across this: all the distances from the home location are up to 20 miles greater than those displayed on the SBS1 screen, irrespective of bearing................................... Aaaaargh! As I write, I realise the answer may be obvio...

Thanks for that - I've now fixed the bug, it should be up on the site in a day or so. It was another time zone thing, I do seem to keep on walking into those.

Re: Another server to display output on a Google Maps page

In ver. 0.20.0 (22nd October 2010) doesn't work any report for me. Instead of it the red window (or line) with the text is displayed: "An exception was encounted... I've tried setting my region and timezone to match yours but I'm not getting the exception. It might be something to do with the timez...

Re: Another server to display output on a Google Maps page

Oops! Thanks for letting me know :) I'm on holiday at the moment so I can't check for sure, but I have an idea what I screwed up there. I'll fix it in the next version.

Re: Latest version of Basestation released!

I've written a small utility that will connect to the latest BaseStation and play the audio that it streams. It was only done today so there defintely WILL be bugs :) Sorry about those. Let me know what crops up and I'll try to fix them. The installer can be downloaded from http://www.virtualradarse...

Re: Another server to display output on a Google Maps page

Earlier on today I noticed that several of the aircraft symbols were pointing in the wrong direction. If they were pointing north then this can happen when there's a position but no heading for the aircraft coming from Basestation. What I do there is calculate the heading from its position but I wa...

Re: Another server to display output on a Google Maps page

Different applications, different timeouts, different totals ? Funnily enough I've just had an email about this. The aircraft are removed from display 30 seconds after the last signal is picked up and forgotten about 10 minutes after the last signal. The 30 second timeout was set so that aircraft a...

Re: Another server to display output on a Google Maps page

Thanks for that - it was a different bug with the same effect, the fix has been done and will be in the next release. You aren't the first to ask for short trails, they are shaping up to be quite popular :) The problem I have with them is that the current method of recording coordinates for the trai...

How to make, that at (auto)updating of file FlightNumbers.csv the data which are added by the user - my local area FlightNumbers, did not disappear? For example, to make such two files - FlightNumbers.csv and FlightNumbers.local.csv... It hadn't occurred to me that people would update the files loc...

Re: Another server to display output on a Google Maps page

Could you please advise min. specs for an XP laptop to run it, and also what is the approx. data rate per minute/hour as I am using capped mobile data? I've no idea :) The server itself doesn't need a whole lot of resources. I run it on a virtual machine which I've given 512Mb to, and that's also r...

We're doing overlapping postings :) I can't change the map's orientation I'm afraid, Google fixes it at due north.
