Re: Adobe Reader Updates

On my notebook it fails, saying it's looking for Drive E, so I stick a flash drive in and it updates.

Using the 'External Radio' dropdown menu 'Preset Frequencies' I can change station at will. What I suddenly can't do is right click on the map and bring up the 'Local Frequenc...

Re: Taking SBS 3 to USA

I think I've seen luggage padlocks on sale that can be opened by the US authorities without causing damage. I can also imagine there must be a black market in the master keys they use.

Loss of signal

I think I should know the answer but I may have lost the plot but.... I know - I think - that batteries don't function so well / lose their charge in extremes of cold but I can't explain loss of SBS-1 signal a couple of days ago. I've been using the ELAD A12-1090 + BT12 mounted outside for some year...

Re: SBS3 :- strange noise from box

That leaves the clicks on my SBS1-e a mystery, but that's for another day.

Happy 2012 all round.

Re: SBS3 :- strange noise from box

Sounds familiar - I get the occasional 'click' from my SBS-1e. It sounds like a relay, but I'm assured there ain't a relay in the box. I've not been able to connect the sound with any event on the screen or with any other application. It seems to occur irrespective of which laptop I am using and irr...

Re: REQ: Las Palmas files (GCLP / LPA) Gran Canaria

There's plenty of traffic in and out of the various islands to and from Europe. Overflights between Latin America and Europe are frequent, and there's also traffic between Europe, Morocco and Cape Verde. Once in a while you'll see the odd plane routing from Africa to north America. With so much ocea...

Re: FDX9160

Thanks folks. I wonder what it is that makes one notice anomalies. I'm actually working on another screen and somehow I notice something out of the corner of my eye on the BS screen. There were also some odd approaches to LHR this afternoon with a few planes coming up from Ockham, passing over Richm...
