STA ... OK

Postby jmhayes » December 5th, 2011, 6:00 pm

I've noticed recently that I might see a list of messages like this on port 30003:

Code: Select all

STA,,52,14156,XXXXXX,770799,2011/12/05,17:41:52.221,2011/12/05,17:41:52.221,PL
STA,,52,14156,XXXXXX,770799,2011/12/05,17:41:57.219,2011/12/05,17:41:57.219,SL
STA,,52,14156,XXXXXX,770799,2011/12/05,17:43:09.695,2011/12/05,17:43:09.695,OK
STA,,52,14156,XXXXXX,770799,2011/12/05,17:43:40.222,2011/12/05,17:43:40.222,PL
STA,,52,14156,XXXXXX,770799,2011/12/05,17:43:45.221,2011/12/05,17:43:45.221,SL
STA,,52,14156,XXXXXX,770799,2011/12/05,17:45:12.069,2011/12/05,17:45:12.069,OK
[...]

I would have thought that the OK message was triggered by receipt of a real message from the XXXXXX transponder, but I don't see one in there either before or after the STA/OK. What was it that triggered the OK in the first place? :)

At a guess, a DF11.
