SBS-3: Multiple simultanous connections possible?

Postby roger_tinembart » January 9th, 2015, 10:07 am

Dear Group
Just a short technical question: Is it possible to open multiple simultanous connections to the raw data port of an SBS-3? At the moment, i don't own a SBS-3, so i am not able to test it. The goal would be to create a network of a few SBS-3 receivers and having two (redundant) computers which are processing the raw data in parallel. So it is important that the SBS-3 is accepting at least 2 concurrent connections to the raw data port. Is this possible?
Thanks and regads
Roger

Sorry, the answer is no BUT if feeding BaseStation from the SBS, you can have multiple accesses to its ports (including the raw data) with no problem.

The Manuals have the info for the port numbers, etc,.
