Maybe it's because I logged off the forum. Maybe a cookies problem.

The link url you're using is:

http://www.radarspotters.eu/modlogan/ml ... 01201.html

Try

http://www.radarspotters.eu/

Or:

http://www.radarspotters.eu/forum

I've connected no problem using three different browsers.

I'm able to conect to the home page and then get the same 404 errors on all internal pages.

Change that to it's still gives 404 errors, but sometimes loads the home page only.

I've had no problems logging in/out repeatedly on two PCs for over an hour. Using Google Chrome.

Okay, managed to access okay via. my laptop, so maybe it's an IE9 problem? Although I tried chrome as well, with the same problem. radarspotters.eu just takes me to a list of two folders - modlogan and webalizer. Maybe I've been hacked?

Re-boot of my PC fixed it. Maybe a DNS lookup change? Re-booting would have flushed the DNS cache.

I installed that Windows update.

From what Dan has posted, he was changing servers and upgrading the SMF forum which caused the outage.

But why some can't get onto the website and forum (two different services) is strange. I haven't cleared any caches and don't have a problem using the "published" urls:

http://www.radarspotters.eu/ (website)

http://www.radarspotters.eu/forum/ (forum)

These urls work OK for me using:

IE8
Firefox
Chrome
Opera
Safari

My PC has remained on since the Windows update yesterday and prior to the RS outage. Strange.

I might be wrong AGAIN lol. But don't forget that when Dan told us of the reason for the outage yesterday, he did state that he would get the forum up as it should look like over the weekend. So that could be the reason why it's down again.

Having flushed my DNS cache with a re-boot, the site is working just fine. If Dan moved the site to a new server, then a DNS problem is the most likely explanation for the problems I was having.
